We had a Soduku challenge in Numeracy. A Soduku is a number challenge. In the example above the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, must be placed in each square, each column and each row. Mr Greenwood showed us how he would work one out. Everyone finished a Soduku with the numbers 1 to 4. The Sodukus with numbers 1 to 6 were much harder. No play today as it was snowing!
We made up some poems based on a "Three little children" poem. There were some excellent examples "Three little apes", "Three beautiful rabbits" and "Three little monsters".
For P.E. we used the high apparatus for the last time.A few people hurt themselves but this was on the low benches not from the high apparatus!
Our country today was England. Ten "English" pictures were slowly uncovered and we had to work out what the pictures were. Today Mr Greenwood will ask a girl and a boy how many they can remember. The pictures were: London Eye, White cliffs of Dover, Stonehenge, Buckingham Palace, A red doubledecker bus, Big Ben, Angel of the North, black cab, policeman and Blackpool Tower.
