Videoconferencing

A very busy day today. We spent the morning finding out some information about Isembard Kingdom Brunel. Then we had a videoconference with the National Maritime Museum and spoke to "Mr Brunel." He was a very determined man and built railways, gigantic ships and enormous bridges. He often "Just because it has never been done before, doesn't mean that it can't be done." This led to a discussion about volcanoes. Can anyone explain why we have volcanoes?

In the afternoon we videoconferenced with a school but we didn't know where the school was. They gave us clues and we gave them clues to find out where the schools were. It turned out that the school was in Bexleyheath (St Josephs Primary School) Both classes enjoyed solving the clues and working out where the other children were from.
